Fabulous suite, classic HilleThis is one that we have never seen before but has all the characteristics of classic Hille. The Chairs ( 2 carvers and 6) have the stepped shape and are in wonderful figured Walnut. The Table is slightly larger than the average which leads us to believe it was a specially commissioned piece all those years ago.It also has a rather unique glass protective top that fits into a recess. Take a little time to look at these chairs in more detail and try to imagine the finished item. For example, once repolished, the Walnut will become much more prominent as it was when it was first manufactured all those years ago. This together with a good colour choice for the reupholstery of the Chairs and suddenly all that Wood will stand out like you wouldn’t believe.
